Our Story

I never imagined a few playful nights making candles in the kitchen with my sister would blossom into a passion for making candles. She came home one night and said "Sista look what I got". We spent all night playing with candle wax. I continued and well, she didn't. After several hundred hours and countless amount of money invested, I realized that I had a gift and I wanted to share it with the world.

Shortly after creating MaGGestic Aromas, my dad took sick and I had to take a step back from the day to day operations of the company for a few years. I returned with this gnawing feeling that I wasn't representing myself enough. With all the incidents that happened in the last few years regarding racism, I felt I needed to represent myself more. In 2022 I added a line of candle designs that represented women like myself. A BLACK WOMAN!!
